Projects
Projects are pre-defined, fixed cost IT upgrades, replacements and migrations - to new versions of software, to replace older hardware or to move from one technology to another - such as from on-premise to cloud.
Projects are recommended during vCIO reviews, derived from lifecycle management thresholds or discovered through our client's internal motivations or goals. Once we arrive at those discussions, we will work up a detailed plan with a fixed cost. If that plan is agreed to, we will dig in and give you a detailed, thought-out plan, with suggestions on avoiding or limiting interruptions in the operation of the business.
For the most part, Projects are hands-off on the client's side, outside of scheduling the phases of the project and notifying their employees when changes will occur. Once that is done, we carry out the project with the client's business in mind, to make the change as smooth as possible. That way our clients can concentrate on their business, not ours - with predictable costs and timelines that match their internal goals.
